Alison Rose Creates Textural Tiles With Delicate Folds<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The latest stone tile from interior designer Alison Rose<\/a> is greater than the sum of its parts. The square-format Duo is composed of two curvilinear ribbed or etched \u201cpuzzle pieces.\u201d Finely striated Duo Texture, which comes in Nero or Calacatta Gold, nestles up to its complement, thickly rippled Duo Dimensional, available in Matcha Verde, Lilac, or Vanilla Onyx. \u201cThe design started as playful explorations of folding paper and velum and being fascinated by how the folds slowly released overnight,\u201d Rose says. \u201cSome had been scored, some simply pressed, some rolled, but all had naturally relaxed, showcasing a play of light and shadow.\u201d Those ephemeral investigations are now realized in magnificent natural stone, and the elegant result won best Stone Wallcovering: Designer Collection. artistictile.com<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
